Commissioning and Clinical Experience Utilizing Elements Multiple Brain Mets SRS
Haisong Liu, PhD, Director of Radiosurgery Physics from Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia discusses commissioning and his institution’s clinical experience using Brainlab Elements Multiple Brain Mets SRS software. He begins by giving an overview of the software and its use of subgroups also compared to volumetric arc therapy. He then discusses in detail dosimetry validation, patient specific quality assurance (QA), planning with the software and plan evaluation using clinical examples from treatments completed in his department.
