Dosimetric Analysis and Clinical Validation for the Automatic Brain Metastasis Planning
Niko Papanikolaou, PhD, from the University of Texas Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center discusses the dosimetric analysis and clinical validation of automatic brain metastases planning (now known as Element Multiple Brain Mets SRS). He begins by outlining how to treat multiple metastases with stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), including Gamma Knife, CyberKnife and VMAT linear accelerators before delving into the science Multiple Brain Mets SRS. He then presents a clinical evaluation of iPlan and VMAT before offering his concluding remarks.
