Early Validation of ExacTrac Dynamic: New Features and Accuracy of the System


Fatma Rahma, MSc, Medical Physicist from Rigshospitalet in Denmark discusses their early validation of ExacTrac Dynamic, its new features and the accuracy of the system. She begins by giving an overview of the ExacTrac Dynamic system and then focuses on three features: The surface camera, live tracking with surface camera and X-Ray, and the size of the X-Ray field of view. She also outlines the workflow which includes pre-positioning with the 3D surface camera, first matching with the X-Ray, acquiring 3D plus thermal information with the surface camera, and then tracking with the surface camera plus X-Ray.

Hello, everyone. As mentioned, I'm going to talk you through the new features and the accuracy of the ExacTrac Dynamic, and these are my disclosures. But first, a little about me. I started working as medical physicist since graduation from Lund University in Sweden. And I gained work experience in radiotherapy from both Sweden and Denmark where I work right now in the Radiotherapy Department.
