Evaluation of Initial Patient Experience with a Non-Invasive Image Guided System
Fred Hacker, medical physicist at the department of radiation oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School, presents his initial patient experience with a non-invasive image guided surgery system for intracranial radiosurgery. The objectives of the study were to determine the system’s accuracy and establish a frame-based benchmark for positioning accuracy and immobilization.
