High Dose Hypofractionated IMRT (HD-HPF-IMRT) for Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC)


Chitti R. Moorthy, MD, director of radiology from Westchester Medical Center / New York Medical College discusses high dose hypofractionated IMRT for hepatocellular carcinoma. He begins by introducing this type of cancer before addressing the limitations of pre-transplant Tx modalities. He then delves into conventional radiation methods and their risks and shares the preliminary results of the hypofractionated IMRT study including rationale, selection criteria and techniques.

This is our team for our liver transplant program and liver tumor treatment at New York Medical College. And my colleague, Dr. Facciuto, is in the audience.
