Next Technological Iteration for Treatment of Multiple Brain Metastases


Susanne Rogers, MD, Radiation Oncologist from Kantonsspital Aarau, Switzerland, discusses new technology for the iterative planning of multiple brain metastases treatments. She begins by giving an overview of patients treated at her institution with the software’s single isocenter dynamic conformal non-modulated arc technique. She discusses her clinical experiences of and patient outcome with Elements Multiple Brain Mets SRS software and presents a standard case example. She then delves into plan comparison of two different software versions: Elements Multiple Brain Mets SRS 1.5 and 2.0.
