At @UZ Gent, in Ghent, Belgium, the team has been leveraging the Brainlab ExacTrac Dynamic system for over two years. Since January 2025, under the leadership of Professor Ben Vanneste, MD, PhD, they’ve enhanced their approach by adopting the ExacTrac Dynamic (ETD) Implanted Marker Workflow. They've successfully reduced their beam-on times to minutes for prostate SBRT cases, each delivered in 5 fractions. 

Using Gold Anchor Markers, the team achieves sub-millimeter precision in monitoring prostate movement, ensuring every treatment fraction is accurately aligned due to automatic detection of the markers and the possibility to reposition in 6 degrees of freedom to align with the planned position. This powerful combination of Gold Anchor Markers and the ETD Implanted Marker Workflow delivers fast, efficient and motion-managed radiotherapy, bringing confidence and control to every session.
