Thank you for this motivational webinar. What is the typical time period to accomplish the certification process? How many rounds of iteration does it take typically? Are there any quantitative quality indicators?
Hello, thanks for reaching out. There is a bit of variability among sites, some have completed in 3 month, others in 2 years. We recognize people are busy and may have greater priorities, so we don't impose a timeline. Either way, the reviewer is there for the duration to provide any assistance that might be needed. As far as iterations, we generally need only one additional iteration after the self-study is first submitted. As for quality indicators, we don't impose specific metrics, but do insist on that recognized quality processes are implemented. This includes quality improvement initiatives, event reporting, peer review, technical QA activities that follow regulation/accepted guidelines, regular meetings, etc.
