Jens Peter Bangsgaard, PhD, Head of Physics at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen, Denmark, shares his early validation experiences of ExacTrac Dynamic including an introduction the patient positioning and monitoring system’s new features as well as its accuracy. He begins by giving a general introduction to ExacTrac Dynamic: Its tracking (surface and X-Ray), immobilization, calibration and phantoms. He also shows the workflow from setup to positioning and referencing to monitoring. Finally, he compares the accuracy of ExacTrac with cone beam CT (CBCT) as well as surface versus X-Ray tracking.
